Grande José Antonio Labordeta Park- Plaza Princesa, Fuente de Colores, Venecia
To the South of central Zaragoza is a majestic park, Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta, that features grandiose fountains and a hill with a viewing terrace, Fuente de Colores. At Plaza Princesa there is a palms and a sculpture of Neptune. The highest point near the park is 278m above the sea. The park was inaugurated in 1929. You find a lot of trees, palms and the music pavilion, Quiosco de la músicam with it's Gaudi inspired top.The park is situated next to the University district and the Venecia district. The entrance is at the bridge Puente de los Cantautores. |
