Värmland During my graphics education in 2006 I had the opportunity to go to the small town Sunne in Värmland, Sweden, for extra education during one week. Värmland is a län (county) and landskap (province) that is situated North of Göteborg, South of Dalarna and West of Stockholm, not very far from Norway. The province is famous for its forests and lakes. Värmland has 312 000 inhabitans. The largest city is Karlstad, but we didn't visit it because the teacher stated that "all cities look the same", something that I don't agree about. The pictures are old so they have no large quality. |
SUNNE Sunne is a small town, known for its graphics industry, like the Tetra Pak, and as the home of Selma Lagerlöf. This is where the education was. We stayed at a red wooden hostel in the outskirts of the town. |
