- Trier Cathedral, Fernmeldeturm Trier-Petrisberg

The river Mosel River flows West of Trier's city center. The city has a beautiful setting between Mosel and the green mountains of Rheinland-Palatinate. The historic Trier Cathedral, Liebfrauenkirche and St Gangolf Church can be seen along the skyline from the Mosel. Fernmeldeturm Trier-Petrisberg (132m) is the tallest structure in Trier, and is a TV tower situated on a hill, next to the Petrisburg residential district. When entering from Luxembourg, there is a beautiful mural next to the winding road, with paintings of famous landmarks of Trier.
