Azabu-Jūban

Just South of Roppongi is Azabu-Juban, a nice lively residential area with Japanese shops, restaurants, cafés, gas stations and supermarkets. Azabu-Juban, part of the Minato ward, has somewhat of a smalltown feeling with a lower tempo then the much more urban surrounding areas. The streest are narrow and the traffic slow. I August the area holds a famous matsuri (summer festival).
