Soviet life exhibition
ROTERMANN QUARTER

This is a museum/exhibition about the life in the USSR, including Estonia, during the Russian period, showing interiors, vehicles, furniture, clothes, lifestyle, magazines, posters and small stuff. It is very interesting and enjoying since most stuff seem very old fashioned today, and it was even by the standards of the time. But you can get an idea of how it was to live in the Soviet union during the communist regime. There is also a souvenir shop where you can buy small souvenirs from this period. The museum is situated in the modern Rotermann Quarter, between the city center and the harbour. Unfortunately it is only open summertime.
