Sopot by night
Monte Cassino, PIER, BEACHFRONT

The small city of Sopot really comes alive at night, since it is somewhat of an entertainment metorpole in Poland. Buildings get illuminated, fountains are splashing in fancy colours, nice restaurants will open and young people gather to the many nightclubs and casinos along Monte Cassino, the main street where the action is. At Monte Cassino we tried a Polish and a Mexican restaurant, there are kitchens from many dirrerent corners of the world here. We also walked along the pier (Europe's longest wooden one) during the late evening.
Sheraton and Sofitel Grand are two large 5 star hotels that add a riviera feeling to the area.

PIER AND BEACHFRONT:

Sopot Pier (Molo) is Europe's longest and oldest wooden pier. We only visited it in the late evening and walked the 512m. There are views of Sopot and its luxury hotels from the second level. At the end of the pier you will find a restaurant, offices, luxurious boats, and a few yachts.
