BRIDGES - ERASMUSBRUG, WILLEMSBRUG AND MORE

This part is about the bridges of Rotterdam and the views they offer. As a big port city, Rotterdam has many bridges, some of them are famous with striking design. The views from them are great, as Rotterdam has one of the best skylines in Europe, with the largest number of skyscrapers in the Netherlands.

Erasmusbrug and its views:

Erasmus Bridge is the most famous and prominent bridge in Rotterdam. It is a cable-stayed bridge above Nieuwe Maas with a striking modern design. It was designed by Ben van Berkel and was completed in 1996. The pylon is 139m high and 802m long. It has been featured in several movies and Tour de France.
