Rijeka by night
- Korzo, Jelacicev Square, Clock Tower
Many buildings are illuminated, light the Clock Tower and the Ploech Palace, and the the fountains at Jelacicev Square are shifting colours at night. Rijeka felt quite calm, almost dead at night, especially considering we were walking through Korzo, the main pedestrian street, a Friday night. But somewhere around the middle of the street, lots of open air restaurants were crowded with people, and there was some kind of outdoor vine festival due to covid restricitions, with many people drinking outside at bars, surrounded by illuminated buildings.
