River Thames is the famous river that flows through London. From it's banks and it's bridges you can watch amazing views of London, it's landmarks and it's skyline. The most famous and iconic bridge along the Thames is the Tower Bridge from 1894 with its historic towers that are connected with a viewing platform- the dull but very famous for the song London Bridge (the current bridge is from 1973 but the first London Bridge was built about 1000 years ago), the futuristic Millennium Bridge (a suspension bridge from year 2000), Westminster Bridge near the parliament and Big Ben, Waterloo Bridge, Chelsea Bridge, Vauxhall Bridge, Lambeth Bridge, Southwark Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge are all in central London.
