East London, City of London - St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral is one of the most prominent landmarks in London. Situated in East London, just West of the Financial District, the cathedral is known for it's white neo-classicistic facade and it's huge cupola. The present structure, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, dates back to the 17th century. It replaced a gothic cathedral that was destroyed durintg the Great Fire. The interior can be visited, but for a high entrance fee.
One New Change is a central office building and shopping mall that opened in 2010, constructed right oppoiste St Paul's Cathedral, that is double mirrored in it's glass exterior. The mall, designed by Jean Nouvel, has 60 shops and an outdoor atrium with glass elevators that lead to a roof terrace with great views of London. The entrance is free and there are fancy bars on the terrace. Royal Courts of Justice is a large beautiful court building from 1882 in gothic revival style, along Strand. It has a cathedral like Great Hall. Liverpool Street Station is one of London's largest railway stations, built 1874 and situated a bit further North from the city center.
