Skylines and views - part 2: Views from Sky 100 (ICC) and Central Plaza
The skyline of Hong Kong is really impressive. Due to the position as an important financial center, and the lack of space for residential buildings, Hong Kong has more skyscrapers then any other city in the world. As one of the densest place in the world, the majority of all office, residential and hotel buildings are all scraping the sky.
This part is concentrated to the skyline views from the tallest and 3rd tallest buildings in Hong Kong: International Commerce Center (ICC) is Hong Kong's tallest building. It also has the tallest observation deck, Sky100, situated on the 100th floor. ICC was built in 2010, is situated on West Kowloon, has 108 floors and is 484m tall. Central Plaza is situated in Wan Chai district and was built in 1992. At a height of 374m to the spire it is currently Hong Kong's 3rd tallest building. There are 78 floors totally, but the free observaton deck is on the 50th floor.
