Tsim Sha Tsui:
Avenue of the Stars, TST Promenade, Clock Tower, Cultural Centre, 1881 Heritage, Salisbury Rd
Tsim Sha Tsui, often shortened TST, is situated in the southern part of Kowloon, facing Hong Kong Island. Along the southernmost part of Tsim Sha Tsui, you can walk along Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, that offers amazing views of Victoria Harbour and HK Island's skyline. Part of the promenade features Avenue of the Stars, where you can find sculptures, handprints and footprints of movie stars, just like in Hollwood. The Bruce Lee sculpture is the most popular. The most famous landmark along the promenade is the Clock Tower, the only structure left from the demolished Kowloon Station, a historic railway station that was demolished replaced by the huge and not so beautiful Cultural Centre in the 80s. Parallel to TST Promenade, you find the busy Salisbury Road, where the legendary Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong Museum of Arts and the Space Museum are situated, as well as the 1881 Heritage complex, that is a historic heritage former marine police building and fire station, that has been transformed into a luxury retail, entertainment and hotel complex. The famous Nathan Road also starts here (see this section).
