Gothenburg is a quite nice city after dark, illuminated buildings along Avenyn, Drottningtorget and Gustav Adolfs Torg for example. Many historic buildings, as well as modernhighrise buildings, are illuminated in nice colours.
Sweden's largest amuseument park, Liseberg's ride tower, ferris wheel and entrance are illuminated at dark.

Gothenburg has a vibrant nightlife and is known for its metal scene and pop scene, has famous rock clubs such as Sticky Fingers and Trägårn,and huge concert venues such as Nya Ullevi stadium and Scandinavium. Just keep out of the large Nordstan mall after dark if you won't get into trouble, after the stores are closed it is a popular hang out for youngsters.
