Brighton Beach- The Lanes, North Laines, Brighton Town Hall, Bond StreetThe Lanes is a shopping district with small lanes in Brighton's city center. The lanes are filled with alternative shops with colourful store fronts; TV game shop, record shops, model kit shop, poster shop, creature clothes, antique shops etc. It is kind of rock and punk, alternative style with guitars, spiders, TV game characters and other cool fetures that decorate the store fronts. You also find nightclubs, pubs etc. Bond Street is one of the main shopping lanes. Meeting House Lane is one of the wider lanes. Brighton Town Hall, a neo-classicist building, is situated at the Lanes facing St Bartholomew Square. It was built in 1832 and the Old Police Cells Museum is situated there. |
