Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) is one of the history's most legendary composers and pianists. In the city center of Bonn, at Bonngasse 27, you can visit the Beethoven-Haus, a pink and white baroque residential building where Ludwig van Beethoven was born, that is now a museum about the composer. The building is open as a museum for visitors and is the world's largest collection of Beethoven. It has a collection, a library and publishing house, and a chamber music hall. There is a lso a garden that can be visited, that contains a collection of Beethoven busts.

At Münsterplatz, in front of the Old Post Office and opposite the Bonn Minster, there is a large statue of Beethoven.
