AMERIKALEJ (BRITSELEJ/FRANKRIJKLEI):This is a long boulevard with tall trees that goes southeastwards from Astridplein in the city center to the southwest end of the city center, where you find the futuristic and new Justitiepaleis complex (Antwerp Lawcourts). Along the way it changes name from Frankrijklei (closest to city center) to Britselej and then Amerikalej. Along the boulevard you will find a tram line and many prominent buildings. |
