Benidorm by night, sunset and sunrise
- Old Town, Playa de Levante (East part), Playa de Poniente (West part), views from Gran Hotel Bali, Palm Beach Hotel
During high seasons Benidorm has a vibrant nightlife with and is crowded with drunk tourists. Especially along Levante Beach you will see a lot of neon lights, restaurants and nightclubs in American or Brittish style. During low season, when we visited, most restaurants closed already at 8 o'clock (but it is much easier to find a bar then a restaurant in Benidorm) and the majority of all pedestrians were pensioners that are long time residents. The Old Town in the city centre is pretty crowded even during low seasons though, with markets, open air pubs, bars, clothes stores, candy stores etc. The skyline at dark is quite nice with all the lights, however there are only a few buildings that are illuminated, like Gran Hotel Bali where we stayed for one night and had the opportunity to watch the whole skyline at night, sunrise and sunset from the 25th floor.
