Below you can see views towards Hospitalet de Llobregat(from Montjüic), actually one of Spain´s largest cities(population: 239 000). The reason it is not more famous might be it has totally grown together with Barcelona. Hospitalet was the first thing we saw of Barcelona (though not aware of that then) when coming from the highway, as the city lies right between the airport and Barcelona. The city has many highrises, both modern ones and commie blocks.

Gran Hotel Hesperia is the tallest (105m) of the many highrises u/c in Hospitalet. The famous Gran Via continues at Hospitalet, bordered by modern glass offices and a new IKEA store.

Hospitalet is home for large "commie block districts" and many companies.
